Tim Kemp was 4 year starter in the middle infield at North Carolina Wesleyan. Tim was a three time all conference selection as well as two time all South Region. Tim led North Carolina to back to back College World Series appearances. He helped set the school record for double plays in a season his senior year. Tim was chosen as an All-American his senior year for his outstanding play as he led North Carolina Wesleyan to their highest winning percentage in school history .913 with a record of 42 – 4.
Tim’s stellar senior campaign was a historical one for North Carolina Wesleyan as he helped them set school records for hits, runs per game, doubles, double plays, and team earned run average.
After his outstanding college career, Tim played two seasons of professional baseball for the Duluth Superior Dukes of the Northern League. He has played for the Battery ABC team for several years. Tim has been an instructor at the Battery since 2000.
Tim lives in Greece with his wife Jen and their 2 children.
