Jason Hogan was a 3 year varsity starter and MVP his junior and senior seasons at Gates Chili High School. He was a 3 time all county selection and set the school record for batting average in a season (.533).
Jason went on to be a 4 year starter and team captain at Ithaca College (shortstop/relief pitcher). He was named to the ABCA all region team was an NYCBL all star. In 1998 Jason led the nation and set a school record for double plays in a season. Jason was named team captain as a senior and holds the career assists record at Ithaca college.
After graduating from college, he was an assistant varsity coach at Gates Chili and Rush Henrietta High Schools.
Jason trained at the Battery throughout little league and high school. He also played for the Battery ABC team from 1996 to 2008. He has been a Battery instructor since 2000.
Jason lives in Rochester with his children Brynn and Cash.
