Battery student Steve Taylor signed a letter of intent to play for the Purple Eagles starting in the fall of 2002. Steve, who attends Greece Athena High School, was selected an All County pitcher in 2001.
“Niagara was not a difficult choice”, states Steve. “They made a great impression on me and I look forward to starting there.”
Steve has attended the Battery Winter Baseball Academy for several years, and taken individual pitching lessons with Coach T. since he was a little leaguer.
Taylor will join Mike Jesserer, another Battery student, who attends Niagara University on a baseball scholarship.
