Bishop Kearney senior third baseman and honor student Fred Tillinghast signed a letter of intent to play at the University of Richmond.
The 4-year varsity starter’s batting average is .500. He is his school MVP. Fred was a member of the USA team and participated in the Pan Pacific Games in Australia. He was recruited by 174 colleges and scouted by several major league teams.
Fred has trained at The Battery since his little league years. He plans to major in business.
