Battery Students Performance – Week of April 24th

  • Senior Ciera Moroz had her first homerun of the season for Canandaigua; she had two RBI.
  • Junior Quin Ignaszak pitched a whole game for Brockport, striking out seven. He also went 2 for 3 and had two RBI.
  • Junior Sam Manioci hit a double for Greece Odyssey and score one run.
  • Freshman catcher Lena Sassenhausen had one hit, drew a walk and had one RBI for Wayne JV.
  • Catcher Karlee Stone went 4 for 5, and stole four bases for Brockport JV.
  • 8th grader pitcher Hailey Short hit a two run homerun to start her season for Union Springs M.
  • Junior pitcher Anna Fitzsimmons tossed one inning, striking out two for Midlakes.
  • Junior Mary Gaffney went 2 for 3, including a double and an RBI for Rush Henrietta.
  • Freshman Zack Coking had two hits for Batavia Notre Dame.
  • Freshman pitcher Emily Phelan tossed a perfect game for Bishop Kearney, striking out thirteen. It is her second perfect game of the season. Catcher Annie Heyen hit a triple and had four RBI.
  • Senior pitcher Grace Van Horn hurled a complete game for Union Springs striking out fifteen. She went 2 for 3, had three RBI and scored three runs.
  • Junior Alexis Raniewicz went 3 for 4 for Churchville Chili.
  • Junior Tanner Richardson had two hits and one RBI for Cal-Mum.
  • Catcher Ashley Covert had two hits for Letchworth.
  • Freshman catcher Lena Sassenhausen had a double and a triple, five RBI and scored two runs for Wayne JV.
  • Catcher Karlee Stone went 4 for 4, with a double, and stole one base for Brockport JV.  Teammate Sydney Ignaszak had two hits, including a double, two RBI and scored one run.
  • Freshman Maya Blackwell pitched a whole game striking out eight for Gates Chili. She also had three hits, scored four runs and had three RBI.  Senior pitcher Haley Dix went 4 for 5 and had four RBI.
  • Freshman pitcher Vanessa Galbraith went 5 for 5, with a homerun and two doubles, had five RBI and scored three runs for Livonia.  She also pitched striking out two.
  • Junior pitcher Hunter Mazur tossed three innings, striking out two for Batavia. He also has two hits and two RBI.
  • Junior pitcher Anna Fitzsimmons pitched five innings striking out eight fort Midlakes.
  • Freshman pitcher Sydney Bolton threw a two hitter for Webster Schroeder, striking out twelve. She also had an RBI double.
  • Junior Quin Ignaszak went 2 for 3, had two RBI and scored two runs for Brockport.
  • Catcher Karlee Stone had three hits, stole three bases, had two RBI and scored three times for Brockport JV.
  • Senior Lea Buck hit a two-run homer for Gates Chili.

  • Junior Meg Palmer went 3 for 5 and had two RBI for Fairpor
  • Freshman pitcher Emily Phelan tossed a whole game for Bishop Kearney striking out sixteen.
  • Pitcher Justin Getty pitched a four-inning no hitter with seven K for Hilton M.  He also went 2 for 2 with two RBI.
  • Senior pitcher Grace Van Horn tossed a whole game, striking out thirteen for Union Springs; she also had two hits and one RBI.
  • 8th grader pitcher Hailey Short hit a grand slam for Union Springs M.
  • Sophomore Alyssa Raniewics had two hits, including a double, had three RBI and scored the tying and winning run for Churchville Chili.
  • Freshman Zack Cocking went 2 for three, with a double, and had two RBI for Batavia Notre Dame.
  • Senior Annie Heyen went 2 for 3 for Bishop Kearney. Freshman pitcher Emily Phelan had ten strike outs.
  • Freshman catcher Lena Sassenhausen had two hits, including a double, three RBI and cored two runs for Wayne JV.
  • Sophomore Sydney Merritt went 2 for 4, with an RBI double, and score two runs for Finney.
  • Freshman pitcher Vanessa Gailbraith tossed a complete game striking out eleven for Livonia.
  • Junior Tim Ostrander had three hits for Bishop Kearney.
  • Pitcher Frank Lauricella hurled four innings for Brockport, striking out seven.
  • Senior Lea Buck went  2 for 2, with a home run for Gates Chili.-
  • Infielder Toni Cunnigham went 4 for 5, with a double, a triple, six RBI and two stolen bases for Geneva.
  • Senior Kyle Carpino pitched a shutout for Cal-Mum. He also went 2 for 3, with a double and an RBI.
  • Pitcher Hanna Rubinrott hurled a complete game for Cal-Mum to get the win. Catcher Meghan Mietlicki had a double and a triple.
  • Junior Jordyn Johnson pitched a complete game for Batavia Notre Dame, striking out seven.
  • Freshman pitcher Emily Phelan had 12 strike outs for Bishop Kearney. Junior Marissa Conroy had five hits, including two doubles and had two RBI. Catcher Annie Heyen had two hits and one RBI.
  • Freshman catcher Lena Sassenhausen had a double, drew a walk and had two RBI for Wayne JV.
  • Infielder Kyle Pero hit a home run for Aquinas.
  • Junior Sam Manioci went 3 for 4, and drew a walk for Greece Odyssey.
  • Junior Alyssa Bolcato had two hits and scored two runs for Irondequoit.  Junior Emily Mongelli had one hit and scored two runs.
  • Freshman pitcher Emily Phelan hurled a complete game striking out sixteen for Bishop Kearney. Senior catcher Annie Heyen hit a double and had two RBI.
  • Junior Meg Palmer tripled for Fairport.
  • Junior Quin Ignaszak went 3 for 4 and had two RBI for Brockport.
  • Freshman Isobel Ross went 4 for 4, including a triple and had two RBI for Honeoye Lima.
  • Freshman pitcher Sydney Bolton had one hit for Webster Schroeder.
  • Catcher Karlee Stone  went 3 for 4, and stole two bases for Brockport JV.  Teammate Sydney Ignaszak hit a grand slam!
  • Winning pitcher Hunter Mazur  also had one hit and one RBI for Batavia.

  • 7th grader Max Callari pitched three innings, striking out three for Aquinas M
  • 8th grader Casey Saucke Jr. had one hit and one RBI for Greece Athena,
  • Junior Meg Palmer went 4 for 5, with a double and a grand slam, drew two walks and had five RBI for Fairport.

Coach T's strong and steady presence has always guided the Battery family and thousands of young people. We are sustained by the strength and peace of knowing he is now in God's loving hands. You are forever in our hearts and by our side.

The Battery's 33rd Anniversary

On March 2nd, 2016 The Battery celebrated its 33th anniversary of training champions.

As a small family owned and run business, we are proud to contribute to make reality the dreams of thousands of young people.

We are proud of The Battery students who through the years have signed with Division 1 colleges and universities; proud of those who signed professional contracts , and proud to have  a Battery-trained student in the major leagues.

We are proud of the lives we have touched and the friends we have made.
