Grace 'Mrs. T' Tillinghast

Grace Tillinghast Grace Tillinghast, known as Mrs. T or "the front office", to our customers and friends, has been The Battery's business manager since day one. She is a native of Argentina, a former college professor and a former Eastman Kodak Company executive. Although she comes from a soccer crazy country, she learned about baseball when her son signed for t-ball years ago. Nowadays, she shares her husband's and son's passion for the sport.

She knows each Battery student by name and  follows their baseball progress as they participate in our many programs. She highlights their school performances in our Website and is also the person that places all the newspaper clippings on our walls. She counsels students about career choices, scholarship venues and is constantly checking their grades.

Trained as a teacher, she holds a certification in English from the University of Michigan, a certification in Italian from the Dante Alighieri Institute and a Certification in Corporate Community Relations from the School of Management at Boston College.

Mrs. T has been a member of countless local, state and national committees and boards and has been recognized for her work as a writer, editor, translator and for her work in her adopted community.

Mrs. T's present community involvement includes:

In 2002, She received the Latinas Unidas "Amiga" Award
