Battery Student Signs Letter of Intent

Leighann Pettis, a senior pitcher at Churchville Chili High School

Battery student  Leighann Pettis, a senior pitcher at Churchville Chili High School, signed a letter of intent to play collegiate softball.

Leighann will attend Seton Hill University, a Catholic  liberal arts university in Greensburg, a suburb of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. Leighann plans on majoring in exercise science. 

Leighann, who trains year round at The Battery taking private lessons and attending the Winter Softball Academies, has had a remarkable softball career. She threw her first perfect game as a seventh grader. She has been recognized many times for her playing abilities and was named to the All Greater Rochester Softball team in 2014.

The Battery's 33rd Anniversary

On March 2nd, 2016 The Battery celebrated its 33th anniversary of training champions.

As a small family owned and run business, we are proud to contribute to make reality the dreams of thousands of young people.

We are proud of The Battery students who through the years have signed with Division 1 colleges and universities; proud of those who signed professional contracts , and proud to have  a Battery-trained student in the major leagues.

We are proud of the lives we have touched and the friends we have made.
