- Battery Lighthing Elite U14 qualified for nationals in mid-July. With their 3rd place showing, the team won their second bid to the PONY Nationals in Cary, NC. The members of the team are: Elizabeth Maier, Sidney Flemister, Caitlin Hanrahan and Marissa O’Leary from Pittsford Sutherland; Kelsey Johnson from Greece Athena; Annie Stoklosa from Mercy; Rosie Philips from Geneva; Kiara Lorenzo and Katherine Ghyzel from Brighton, and Anna Valentine and Kelsey Julien from PIttsofrd Mendon.
- Three of the five Section V students who received All State Honors are Battery students: Second baseman Maddie Reese (Pittsford Mendon), pitcher Kaylee Quigley (Gananda) and pitcher Alissa Di Martino (Northstar Academy).
- Brockport junior Scott Haug is the only member of his team to receive the 2010 Scholar Athlete Award. And he also received the Monroe County Athletic Association Scholar Athlete Award. The awards are given to a player for academic excellence, being a team player and acting as a role model for his peers.
- Pittsford Mendon infielder Maddie Reese was named to the First Team All County for the 4th consecutive year.
- SUNY Brockport senior Nate Parrino has been named to the American Baseball Coaches Association All-Region team as a first team selection in the New York Region
- Northstar Academy pitching ace Alyssa Di Martino was named Birds Eye Player of the Year for Private-Parochial for a second year in a row. She finished her senior year with a total of nine shutouts, six no hitters and two perfect games.
- Senior catcher Alyssa Davis form Holley has been named Birds Eye Player of the Year for Genesee County. She batted .679 this season, with 25 RBI and scored 24 runs.
- Senior pitcher Stephanie Clark of Webster Thomas was named Birds Eye Player of the Year for Monroe I. She had twelve wins and a 1.77 ERA.
- Sophomore short-stop Courtney Budynas was named Birds Eye Player of the Year for Monroe III. She batted .414, scored 16 runs and had 15 RBI. She has played varsity softball for four years.
- Senior pitcher Kaylee Quigley and senior short stop Lindsay Stowell were named Birds Eye Players of the Year for Wayne County. Kayle led her team to a 19-0 season and batted .515. Lindsay batted .545
- Senior Northstar Academy pitcher Matt Connell was named Birds Eye Player of the Year for Private Parochial. As a pitcher he won five games, and had four doubles, four triples, 40 RBI and scored 24 runs.
- 7th grader Nick Ficarella of Churchville Chili M was named Defensive Player of the Year.
- Irondequoit infielder Desarae Maldonado, a Scholar athlete, was named the 2010 MVP. She was also named to 2nd Team All-County.
