Casey Saucke

Casey Sauke was a standout player at Churchville Chili and was recruited by MLB teams and dozens of colleges. He was scholarship player and Division 1 college teammate of Fred Tillinghast (Battery instuctor) at Le Moyne College.

Casey helped lead the Dolphins to multiple NCAA post season appearances. He led the team in homeruns back to back seasons. Casey graduated at the top of numerous offensive categories. Casey played shortstop and captained the team his senior year.
He signed with the Baltimore Orioles after college and played infield, outfield, and catcher at professional level. He has played for the Battery ABC teams for several seasons. Casey joined the Battery as an instructor in 2003.

Casey lives in Greece with his wife Laurie and their 3 children.

The Battery's 33rd Anniversary

On March 2nd, 2016 The Battery celebrated its 33th anniversary of training champions.

As a small family owned and run business, we are proud to contribute to make reality the dreams of thousands of young people.

We are proud of The Battery students who through the years have signed with Division 1 colleges and universities; proud of those who signed professional contracts , and proud to have  a Battery-trained student in the major leagues.

We are proud of the lives we have touched and the friends we have made.
