Battery's Grage Two No-Hitters Lead to State Title for Mendon

Battery student Brittany Grage, the senior pitcher at Pittsford-Mendon, had a remarkable performance on the mound and at the plate to lead her team to a state championship for the first time in school history.

Brittany threw a no hitter with twelve strike outs at the semis against Elmira, and also scored  two runs. The championship game was against Kings Park HS from Long Island and Brittany threw her second no hitter of the day.

Brittany has trained with Battery pitching instructor Courtney Fitzgerald Cardot and with hitting instructor Fred Tillinghast.

On March 2nd, 2016 The Battery celebrated its 33th anniversary of training champions.

As a small family owned and run business, we are proud to contribute to make reality the dreams of thousands of young people.

We are proud of The Battery students who through the years have signed with Division 1 colleges and universities; proud of those who signed professional contracts , and proud to have  a Battery-trained student in the major leagues.

We are proud of the lives we have touched and the friends we have made.
